Career in football

Firmino started his career at CRB, a club from his hometown. Still in the youth academy, he transferred to Figueirense, where he turned professional.

In 2010, the forward signed a contract with Hoffenheim in Germany, where he began to gain prominence on the international stage.

Idol in Europe

At Liverpool, Firmino lived the peak of his career between 2015 and 2023. During this period, he won seven important titles, including the 2019/20 Premier League and the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League. One of the most memorable moments was his goal in the 2019 Club World Cup final, which secured the title for the Reds.

In the last season, Firmino played 34 games for Al-Ahli and scored nine goals. In addition to his success at the club level, he also wore the Brazilian national team jersey, participating in the 2018 World Cup.

New responsibility and commitment to the faith

Firmino expressed that being a pastor was never an initial goal, but rather a mission that was born after his encounter with Christ.

“Since our encounter with Christ, a longing burns in our hearts… that people may know this love that has reached us. Now we have another responsibility… To be pastors according to the heart of God and to cooperate with the Kingdom,” Firmino said. He thanked pastors Jairo and Keila for believing in and encouraging his spiritual journey.
