That’s when Richarlison came into the picture. Determined to make the difference, he shone in the second half. In the 48th minute, he opened his personal counter by perfectly taking over a ball poorly cleared by the opposing defense, thus scoring his first goal of the evening.
But the Brazilian did not stop there. Four minutes later, he found the net again thanks to a poor back pass from Pedro Henrique. His speed and technical finesse caught the Lion City Sailors defense off guard, and he easily netted his second goal.
The stadium was in turmoil, and cheers for Richarlison echoed through the enclosure. Fans were ecstatic at this dazzling performance from their Brazilian hero.
At the very end of the match, in stoppage time, Richarlison sealed his legendary performance by scoring a third goal, following a superb pass from Emerson Royal.
