The Tottenham Hotspur footballer, Richarlison, has spoken about his complicated moments to the microphones of ESPN Brazil. He confessed that there are already very advanced conversations with his doctors to perform a surgery that could keep him off the field for several months.
This season, Richarlison has not been able to exploit his full offensive potential in Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs, as he has barely managed to score two goals and distribute three assists in 11 games counting all competitions and this, according to the player himself, could be explained by a strong ailment that has been dragging on in the pelvis for more than eight months.

Richarlison’s recovery time could be around three or six months
After the 4-1 defeat against Chelsea, Pombo was asked about his absence from Fernando Diniz’s recent list for the double date of the South American Qualifiers in November, the footballer, with a broken voice, accepted Diniz’s decision:
“The national team is part of me, of course it is a dream to wear this shirt. Of course, I was sad when I saw that he wasn’t (on the list), but I understand Diniz. If I were him, he wouldn’t have summoned me either. I have not had a good football performance, I am in debt. Although I have improved in recent games, there is still a long way to go before I wear the national team shirt again.”
When asked about his absence in the derby against Chelsea, the footballer replied: “Of course I expected to play today, it is an important match, a derby. Yesterday I found out that I wouldn’t play, but this is part of football.”
Finally, the player revealed his complicated physical situation, ensuring that the last few months have been a lot of pain and suffering: “These last few months have not been easy for me. I have been suffering for my health. I have already spoken to the doctors and I will have pubic surgery very soon. The last eight months have been a lot of suffering, I have been fighting and only looking out for the good of the club and the national team without thinking about my well-being. I think the time has come to rest, take a breath. In the next few days we will see, but soon I will do what is best for me.”
Although the player has not revealed what injury or ailment he suffers in his pubic bone, some media theorize that it could be some kind of pelvic fracture. If so, the recovery time for Richarlison could be around three or six months.
