After the match between Real Madrid and Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League, there was great concern within the Madrid team due to the discomfort Vinicius Jr. experienced towards the end of the match against the Manchester team.

The Brazilian, who finished the game with muscular fatigue, did not complete the extra time and was substituted in the 102nd minute with an evident look of pain, raising doubts about his possible participation in the upcoming Spanish Clásico against FC Barcelona.

Tests carried out by Real Madrid have ruled out an injury for Vinicius

However, the Spanish press has confirmed that Vinicius Jr. has trained alongside his teammates in the most recent training session, and his presence in El Clásico is not ruled out.

Both he and his teammate and captain, Dani Carvajal, finished the match against Manchester City physically exhausted. However, the Spaniard has been one of the notable absences in Madrid’s training and a minor injury is not ruled out.

Real Madrid would have conducted medical tests on both players and, although there were no negative results, the club aims to proceed with caution in their express recovery before the important league match against FC Barcelona, which will be played next Sunday, the 21st.

El Diario Sport reveals in its most recent report that Vinicius Jr. completed the training without any discomfort, exercising normally and confirming to the coaching staff that he is 100% ready to start against Barça.
