The Barcelona player took a precise free kick that the Colombian goalkeeper couldn’t save, in the 1-1 draw on Tuesday (2), in Santa Clara, California. This Friday (5), he was confirmed by Dorival Júnior in Brazil’s attack.
He will play alongside Rodrygo and Endrick, the novelty in the match. The 17-year-old striker will replace Vinicius Júnior, who is serving a suspension for receiving two yellow cards in the competition.

Raphinha is confident in the success of the National Team with the new attack. This Saturday (6), Brazil will face Uruguay, in Las Vegas, for a spot in the semifinals of the Copa América. The game will be at 10pm (Brasilia time).
“I think in my position, in my role, not much changes. Endrick plays a different position, but if asked to do something else, he’ll do it. Endrick, Rodrygo and I have the profile to adapt quickly to any position in the National Team. My positioning on the field won’t change much,” said the Barcelona striker.
“During the game, it will change, depending on the positioning that one or the other ends the play. I believe the position will be the same for me, as well as for him and Rodrygo,” he explained.
This Saturday’s clash will be another edition of the historic classic against the Uruguayans. Raphinha praised the opponents, but made it clear that Brazil “is very strong” for the game.
“We know that Uruguay has players of great quality who play in high-level leagues. We also have quality players facing them. I know Bielsa well, I know his team plays very well physically, technically and tactically. We expect a tough game against a team that will want to beat us. We have to be prepared. In training, in conversations, we are very strong,” he concluded.
