A fierce and tactically applied team, aware of the opponent’s danger and that a stumble must be avoided at all costs. This is the Brazilian team designed and prepared by coach Ramon Menezes for the team’s debut in the Pre-Olympic, against Bolivia, this Tuesday (23), at 5 pm (Brasília time), at the Brigido Iriarte Stadium, in Caracas, in Venezuela.

Ramon wants his players to “give their soul” in the match and throughout the tournament. It makes a point of seeing a team that fights nonstop for victory and that doesn’t give up if it suffers a setback along the way.

“We have been together since 2022, most of the athletes, and we know what this competition means for all of us. The group is strong, it is concentrated. I always talk about the spirit, the attitude, the dedication of the soul, which are hallmarks of our work”, declared the coach, minutes after training held on the afternoon of this Monday (22), at the Olympic Stadium of the Universidad Central de Venezuela, in Caracas.

“We are confident of playing an excellent game, that we can enter the field well focused”, he added.

During the activity, open to the press for just a few minutes, Ramon made it clear who the starting team would be. But he will only announce the 11 who will start the game when he is at the Brigido Iriarte Stadium.

The coach hopes that the team’s performance can meet the expectations of Brazilian fans. “Most of these players have a history with the Brazilian national team, they already have this pleasure, this desire to wear the national team’s shirt and represent the colors of Brazil.”
