After the call-up of the Pre-Olympic Team for the November FIFA Date, this Tuesday (7), coach Ramon Menezes highlighted the list of those called up for the training period between the 13th and 21st, which will serve as team preparation for the Pre-Olympic Tournament, held in Venezuela, in January 2024. The venue is CT Joaquim Grava, which belongs to Corinthians, in São Paulo.
“We have called up a great selection. Some are coming for the first time, others already know the job. This preparation is very valid for drawing some conclusions. It is important to make a call-up like this”, he highlighted.

Among the 23 athletes called, the coach called up 13 players with whom he has already become champion: Mycael, Andrew, Arthur Chaves, Robert Renan, Michel, Patryck, Alexsander, Andrey, Igor Jesus, Luis Guilherme, Biro, Matheus Nascimento and Sávio. He reinforced the importance of having a winning group and said that their presence helps newcomers adapt to their methodology.
“It’s repetition, there are players who have known me for a long time, they know the work. This already helps a lot even those who are coming, the dynamics of the work are better. They understand and already know what we expect from them.”
In the Pre-Olympic Tournament, Brazil competes for a place in the final quadrangular with Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador, a group assessed by Ramon as very balanced when praising their opponents.
“Everything is very balanced. A South American competition is always very tough. In the Pan, we faced Colombia, who is in our group in the Pre-Olympic. In the South American, it was the opponent we couldn’t beat and we drew both games There’s Venezuela, who will be the home team and has evolved a lot. It’s a very balanced group, with Ecuador also very strong, and we’ll have to do a lot of preparation.”
