After training this Sunday (4), in Caracas, the coach of the Brazilian Under-23 team, Ramon Menezes, highlighted the importance of the players being concentrated and focused on the match against Paraguay, this Monday (5), in the debut of the team in the final quadrangular of the Pre-Olympic.

The game will be played at the Brígido Iriarte Stadium, in the Venezuelan capital, and will start at 5 pm (Brasília time).

“We studied Paraguay a lot, we expect to play a great game and another final for all of us. Because football today comes down to details, a lack of concentration, so we have to be very focused at the beginning of the game, do what we have been doing in training and in most of this competition, bring the spirit and attitude to this game. We already carry a very big responsibility, which is to wear the Brazilian National Team shirt”, said the coach.

In this last phase of the Pre-Olympic, the four classified teams face each other in an all-against-all system. The best two guarantee a place in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

“It’s a new tournament, we know that the difficulties we will encounter in this competition are the same. A very strong opponent, who qualified because they sought to qualify from the beginning of the competition, like us. We have already faced each other on a few occasions and we know some players”, said Ramon.
