Striker Priscila already has a lot of history to tell, even with a still short career, but full of individual and collective achievements. One particularity of hers is that she is usually efficient in debuts.

Last year, for example, in her first call-up to the Brazilian National Team, she came on at halftime of a friendly match against Japan, in November, at the Neo Química Arena, when the score was 3-3, and scored the winning goal for the Seleção.

“That was a very emotional moment. I celebrated a lot with my family that debut for the National Team with a goal in added time,” she said.

Before that, in October 2021, Priscila had already left her mark on her professional debut, for Internacional. In a game against Elite, in the Campeonato Gaúcho, she was brought on in the 20th minute of the second half and still had time to score two goals.

Also for the 2022 U-20 World Cup, she scored Brazil’s first goal in the competition – it was in the game against Australia, which ended 2-0 for the team.

Priscila will travel with the Brazilian National Team to the Paris Games. She is in the position of a reserve, being able to have a chance if any of her teammates on the list of 18 registered players suffer an injury or other more serious medical problem. It would be her debut in the Olympics.

“I’m here to help the National Team, if I have the opportunity, I’ll be ready to play. It would be a dream to be able to play and score another goal in a debut. However, the most important thing is the team spirit, the collective, I have to focus on what is best for the group.”
