Paris has already held the Olympics twice, first in 1900 and then in 1924. 100 years later, it will be home to the most traditional and biggest sporting event for the third time.
London (1908, 1948, 2012) is the only city to have hosted the summer Games on three occasions so far. But apart from Paris, Los Angeles will also join this list in 2028 after organizing the event in 1932 and 1984.
