Palmeiras expects to receive around 40 million euros from the sale of Estevão
According to Thiago Fernandes, GOAL journalist, the London club and Palmeiras have already started the first contacts to try to move forward with the possible signing of Estevão. In principle, Palmeiras would have already valued their new pearl and would only be willing to let him leave for an offer of around 40 million euros.
The plan would be to accept an offer of 20 million fixed euros for Estevão and another 20 in variables (objectives to be met) that would raise the total amount to those 40 million desired by the Brazilian institution. Another option would be for Chelsea to pay the 45 million agreed in his termination clause. However, there is a willingness to negotiate.
Everything seems to indicate that Chelsea would have the intention of moving forward firmly in the “Estevão case” to prevent it from escaping them as happened with Endrick at the time. Therefore, they would seek to bring the negotiations to a successful conclusion as soon as possible.
