The Brazilian National Team seems to have reached an agreement with Carlo Ancelotti, according to Globo. The Italian coach would take charge of the team in July 2024, after his current contract with Real Madrid expires. Therefore, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) would have a plan to improve this transition.
ESPN points out that one option on the table is the hiring of Davide Ancelotti, Carletto’s son and assistant, to work closely with Ramon Menezes, who would continue to lead the team on an interim basis.

Ancelotti incorporated his son into his coaching staff in 2016, when he was in charge of Bayern Munich. Since then, Davide has accompanied him in his following teams: Napoli, Everton and Real Madrid, where he seems to be highly valued.
At 33, he already has an interesting journey in European football. Getting involved in a prestigious national team such as Brazil would imply an unprecedented challenge for Carletto’s son, but perhaps he can keep up with tasks and bring reports to his father until he can fully dedicate himself to the Canarinha. Not counting the current June friendlies, Brazil will have eight games until June next year, including several qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Cup.
