Midfielders Danilo and João Gomes were cut this Sunday (3) from the Brazilian Pre-Olympic Team.
They were injured playing for their clubs in the weekend’s round. Danilo suffered an injury to his left thigh in the Nottingham Forest match on Saturday (2nd). João Gomes left the Wolverhampton match this Sunday (3rd) complaining of severe pain in his right knee.

Coach Ramon Menezes called Aleksander, from Fluminense, and Gabriel Moscardo, from Corinthians, to replace them in the two friendlies against Morocco. The first will be on Thursday (7). The second will take place on the 11th. The two games will be in Fez, in the African country.
The Pre-Olympic Selection starts on Monday (4) the preparation in Fez for the friendlies. Some of the squad will have their first training session on Monday afternoon at the Fez Sports Centre. All athletes will be in Morocco on Tuesday (5).
