Strikers Marquinhos and John Kennedy watched part of the game between Venezuela and Argentina on TV, on Monday night (8), and really enjoyed the draw (2-2) achieved by the home team in stoppage time. This allows Brazil to turn the table around by beating Venezuela.
“Optimism always. Everyone here is focused and we are going after these three points”, said Marquinhos, who came on during the match against Paraguay.
For now, Paraguay leads the quadrangular with 3 points, followed by Venezuela and Argentina, with 1, and Brazil, which has not yet scored. The two best classified in this phase qualify for the Paris Olympics.
