With the Copa Libertadores preliminary phase coming to an end, everything’s set for the 2024 Sudamericana group stage draw. The teams eliminated from the third preliminary round of the continent’s premier tournament will drop to the CONMEBOL’s second competition, which will feature seven representatives from Brazil.
Nacional (Paraguay), Red Bull Bragantino, Sportivo Trinidense, and Always Ready lost in their respective ties, completing the pots for the Sudamericana group stage draw, set to take place on Monday (18th).

In addition to the São Paulo-based team, the other Brazilian teams in contention include Athletico Paranaense, Internacional, Fortaleza, Cuiabá, Corinthians, and Cruzeiro. Some of them are placed in different pots, but it’s worth noting that two clubs from the same country cannot be drawn into the same group.
