Bragantino will have to face the Águilas Doradas of Colombia. While Botafogo’s rival will come out of a previous clash between Aurora from Bolivia and Melgar from Peru. They are keys that are played back and forth and the Brazilian clubs have the advantage of defining the series on their playing fields.

These matches will be played on February 21 and 28 of next year. If both Brazilian teams advance to the round, they will face each other in what is phase 3, which will be played on March 6 and 13, and which is the last to decide the team that gets into one of the Libertadores groups.
Once all those classified in the previous phases are confirmed, Conmebol will carry out the draw for the group stage. By ranking, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Grêmio, São Paulo and Fluminense, current champion, will be the group leaders. Meanwhile, Atlético Mineiro will be in pot 2.
