The seventh round of the Mexican Championship was one of great celebration for the Toluca fans who went to the Nemesio Díes stadium. With two beautiful goals from Pedro Raul, the hosts thrashed Pachuca 5-0 and reached 12 points, in fifth place.

The Brazilian’s first goal in the game, Toluca’s fourth, came after a beautiful exchange of passes by the team, in a deadly counterattack, completed by the beautiful cover shot made by the number 9.

“The wonderful atmosphere of the crowd was reflected on the field. We were looking for the goal all the time and we were rewarded for it. A victory that gives confidence to the whole squad”, said Pedro Raul.

Toluca will play again on September 16, against Tijuana, away from home, in the eighth round of Liga MX.
