Cruzmaltino has not yet informed the severity of the problem, but during the 2-0 victory over Fortaleza, Payet was seen with an ice pack on his right thigh.

Coutinho on loan to Vasco

Initially, Coutinho was about to terminate his contract with Aston Villa, England, but the situation has changed, and the player will come to the Rio de Janeiro club on loan.

Aston Villa, who invested heavily in signing Coutinho, preferred a one-year loan, until next June. This change was first reported by ESPN.

With the new configuration of the agreement, there are no more obstacles to the signing between Vasco and Coutinho. The midfielder’s signing is expected to be officially announced by the club in the coming days.

To have Coutinho, Vasco also met some of the player’s demands, hiring defensive midfielder Souza and attacking midfielder Alex Teixeira, both developed in the club’s youth categories.
