The classic match between Palmeiras and São Paulo at Allianz Parque was marked by a scare that took the breath away from the fans: Left-back Patryck Lanza of Tricolor had to be taken off the field by ambulance after suffering a concerning fall during a ball dispute with Estêvão from Verdão.
The player, who briefly lost consciousness, was taken directly to Albert Einstein Hospital, where he underwent tests and spent the night hospitalized for observation.

Patryck calms the Tricolor fans
On his social media, Patryck appeared wearing a sling due to a shoulder injury but made sure to reassure São Paulo fans. “Hey, everyone! Just passing by to calm you all down! I’m fine, thank God, with my family and friends. Thank you to everyone who sent me messages and prayers. Now it’s time to focus on recovery and let’s go for the next one,” wrote the left-back.
Estêvão apologizes
The incident occurred shortly after Palmeiras opened the scoring in the match, which ended with a 2-1 victory for the green team. Patryck, who had entered in the first half to replace Ferreira, felt the injury after falling headfirst onto the field.
Palmeiras forward Estêvão, involved in the play, took to his social media to apologize and emphasize that he did not intend to cause the injury. “Far from being on purpose, even further from being malicious. Those who know me know that I would never do that to a brother, a friend, a colleague, or anyone. Brother, I’m sorry. I’m here for anything you need, count on me, I hope you come back soon and recover as quickly as possible. Praying for you,” wrote the young Palmeiras player.
Palmeiras fans supported Patryck
The scene on the field was tense, with players from both teams visibly concerned. Patryck was promptly attended to by the medical teams from São Paulo and Palmeiras, as well as the paramedics present at the stadium. In a gesture of respect, the Palmeiras fans applauded the São Paulo left-back as he was removed from the field.
Given the situation, São Paulo’s assistant coach, Maxi Cuberas, opted to bring in defender Alan Franco to reinforce the defense.
