The Brazilian league is the one that moves the most money in South America, whether through player acquisitions or sales. Palmeiras is the club that achieved the best balance in the last five years, above other teams that also invested and received large sums of money.

According to a study by the CIES Football Observatory, Verdao managed €307 million in transfers in that period and ended with a positive balance of €143 million in the same currency.

The institute only considered those clubs that moved at least €100 million, so behind Alviverde, we find teams like Athletico Paranaense, Sao Paulo, and Fluminense.
