On July 30, 2022, the Brazilian Women’s National Team was crowned champion of the Women’s Copa América. The journey to the final began with a 4-0 victory against Argentina. In the Brazilian debut, Adriana (twice), Bia Zaneratto and Debinha scored the goals. It was an announcement of Amarelinha’s dominance for the remainder of the tournament.

In the 38th minute of the first half, Debinha scored the goal from the penalty spot that made Brazil shout “É Campeão” (we are the champions). It was the fourth goal for the number 9 shirt in the competition, which had Bia Zaneratto and Adriana as the other scorers, with 3 and 5, respectively.
