“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Rafinha. The Brazilian midfielder, who joins from FC Barcelona, has signed a deal through to 30 June, 2023," the Ligue 1 side said on late Monday.
Rafinha started his career at Barcelona and scored 12 goals in 90 games for the La Liga club.
The 27-year-old midfielder lifted a Champions League trophy in 2015 and three La Liga titles (2015, 2016 and 2019) with Barcelona.
Rafinha completed a late medical with PSG on Monday and signed for the French giants. The fee is rumored to be around €3m in variables. As part of the deal, Barcelona would also get 35 per cent of a possible future sale.
The 27-year-old has been at the Camp Nou side since his teenage years but injuries never let him reach his full potential at the club. Indeed, when he played 24 matches in the Primera Division in 2014-15, it was the most he ever managed.
Rafinha has spent much of the last two years away on loan, first at Inter in Serie A then at Celta Vigo.

Last term, he managed 29 La Liga appearances and returned four goals. In total, he played 30 times for Celta – the most matches he had played since his breakthrough year with Barca.
The next stage for Rafinha lies in PSG where there is a big need for an attacking midfielder at the moment.
PSG return to action with a Ligue 1 trip to Nantes before they turn their attentions to the Champions League with a big game against Manchester United.
