The last 10 days could have gotten worse for Neymar and they have. The Brazilian lost the Champions League final to Bayern Munich. The heartbreak was worse as he could have hit the back of the net in the first half.
In the end, the Brazilian forward was on the losing side and spotted a dejected look after the game. He left Portugal for much needed vacations before the start of 2020/21 Ligue 1 season. The recent days and trauma attached with them just got bitter.
Multiple reports now claim Neymar is the latest football star to test positive for the covid-19 virus.
He was partying in Ibiza where he is currently spending the latter days of his holiday.
A statement from PSG seems to go in line with the latest reports. The club revealed that three of their players have tested positive for the virus but chose to leave them unnamed.
"Three Paris Saint-Germain players have confirmed positive Sars CoV2 tests and our subject to the appropriate health protocol," a statement on the club’s official website read.
"All of the players and coaching staff will continue to undergo tests in the coming days."

Neymar is now a major doubt for PSG’s opening match against Lens on September 10. As it stands, he also faces the prospect of missing his side’s derby against Marseille.
The identity of the other two players has not surfaced. However, it is speculated that they are Argentine duo, Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes. All three players are now expected to go into self-isolation for a period of about two weeks.
