Neymar is discharged after medical evaluation and will continue his treatment at home

Striker Neymar Jr. was discharged this Saturday morning (04) from Mater Dei Hospital, in Belo Horizonte, after a new evaluation carried out by the medical chief of the Brazilian National Team Team, Dr. Rodrigo Lasmar.

According to Lasmar, the player, who underwent surgery to treat injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus of his left knee last Thursday (02), showed good post-operative progress.

Now, the next step is to start physiotherapy work.

On October 18, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed that the athlete from Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, and the Brazilian National Team, had a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee.

The injury occurred one day earlier, during the Brazilian team’s match against Uruguay in Montevideo, in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
