According to Le Parisien, the club justified the absence of both players as mild cases of gastroenteritis. The Brazilian and the Italian remained in the weight room of the Poissy Training Centre for individual work. They were also left out of PSG’s media day.

International media affirms that Neymar has told PSG that he no longer wants to stay at the club and intends to be transferred in this window. His main desire is to go back to Barcelona, but the situation at the club makes this a hard endeavour.

His father, however, has denied this.

Saudi giants Al Hilal are approaching him as of now and have sent emissaries to talk to the player’s representatives. United States’ MLS is also an option for the Brazilian.

As for the Italian, Al Hilal are also on the spotlight.

PSG’s first game on Ligue 1 is this Saturday (12) against Lorient.
