Brazilian midfielder Joelinton has a lot to celebrate. He got called up for the National Team for the first time in his career and has also scored a goal in his debut, the first one of Brazil"s win against Guinea by 4-1.

“I was dreaming in the bedroom, imagining this moment. First match with the National Team, it is a great pride. I was remembering the time as a child, from the first steps at Sport [a team from Pernambuco, in the Northeast of Brazil] and all the way here. There was a movie in my head. At the time of the goal it was a dream. I am very happy," he said during the halftime of the match.

Joelinton had a good game with the Brazilian shirt. He was on the midfield, but the goal was the characteristic of a forward, because he took a second chance opportunity after goalkeeper Koné defended the ball.

Coach Ramon Menezes had a lot of praise for the player. Big Joe gave his place on the field for Bruno Guimarães, his companion at Newcastle, in the second half.
