Chelsea are going to put a lot of money into this transfer window again with the aim of returning to the glory days. One of the positions he is looking to reinforce is central defense after the departure of Thiago Silva and for that he has another Brazilian on his radar.

According to what the UOL media reported, Nottingham Forest asked for close to 60 million euros for the transfer, almost five times more than the money they put up a year ago for his transfer. Chelsea are interested in adding him, although they anticipated that they are not willing to pay that sum.

The transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, specified that the Blues requested information and conditions for the purchase of Murillo, but there is still no proposal or formal negotiations underway.

Another team interested in making a good sale of the 21-year-old defender is Corinthians. Timão has the right to 10% of the transfer fee, in addition to the percentage that corresponds to the club that trains the player.

Chelsea finished sixth in the last Premier League, without achieving a ticket for a season competition. This despite making a multimillion-dollar investment in players like Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo, among others.
