Kylian Mbappé has put his voice once again in the fight against racism. The Frenchman is visiting Cameroon because of the roots of his father Wilfred, who was born in the country. A lot of people have gathered around the Frenchman during this visit and he chose to give one interview and talked especially about social problems, including the case involving Brazilian Vinicius Junior last season.

Mbappé is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until next season, but there are reports that the team intends to accept a transfer for him in case he does not renew – because it could mean that he would leave for free in the next summer window. He did not talk about it during the interview with NCI.

“We have to do more to find the best way (to fight racism). In 2023, it is impossible for us to wait for something to happen to us in order to act. The last case was that of Vinicius, but there are many more cases. “You can’t leave the door open for these behaviors,” he said.

The Frenchman used his social media during the attacks suffered by the Brazilian and posted a message to him: “You are not alone. We are with you and we will support you, Vinicius Junior”.

In the interview, he said that the fight is improving and that it will only continue to grow as long there is dialogue with authorities.

“We have already taken a first step towards not accepting this type of thing anymore. I believe we have to talk to the authorities, discuss to find the best formula. I don’t have a magic recipe, otherwise I would have already given it.”
