The Premier League came to an end with the celebration of the title by Manchester City as the most prominent news. When analyzing the contributions of Brazilian players, what stands out is the performance of Matheus Cunha, who was the one who scored the most goals this season.

The Wolverhampton striker finished the campaign with 12 goals, far from the 27 of Erling Haaland (Manchester City) and the 22 of Cole Palmer (Chelsea), but enough to top the list of goals among Brazilian players. A number that also means he was the author of almost one in four goals his club scored in the year.

With 11, one less, was Richarlison. The striker arrived at Tottenham in 2022 and his first season was not good, with only three goals in 35 appearances. This year he had a better run, although very irregular and affected by knee injuries that kept him off the pitch for several games.

Lower down the list, with 9 goals, are three names: João Pedro, in his first season at Brighton after almost four years at Watford; Douglas Luiz, with great performances in a more offensive position at Aston Villa; and Rodrigo Muniz, who earned a starting spot at Fulham with goals, many of them of great quality.

The most notable absence at the top of this table is that of Gabriel Jesus, who at Arsenal could not match the great goal-scoring average achieved at Manchester City. Between injuries and a drop in form, he ended up as a clear reserve for the team that finished second in the Premier League. The striker finished the season with four goals and five assists.
