This Friday (22), coach Ramon Menezes announced the call-up for the Brazilian National Team that will compete in this year’s Pan American Games, in Santiago, Chile. Among the 18 players selected was Marquinhos, a striker who plays for Nantes, on loan from Arsenal.
“Once again it is a great honor to defend the Brazilian team. I know Ramon’s work and he knows mine. I know we have good prospects in the competition. I thank him and the committee for their trust”, said the player.

Ramon and Marquinhos worked together during the U20 World Cup this year. On that occasion, the Brazilian played five games, scored one goal and provided two assists.
Preparation for the Selection begins on the 9th and runs until October 17th at Granja Comary. The competition starts on the 20th.
