“I think the preparation is going very well, today is the second day of training. The group is very good, we all already knew each other from previous squads, which ends up helping,” said the midfielder.

The player stated that the group is well assimilating the tips given by coach Ramon Menezes. “Ramon is giving us tips about the Pre-Olympics, telling our team to be very intense, and if God wants to get there and get a place in the Olympics”, revealed Marlon, highlighting the importance of intensity in the search for the greater objective.
The athlete revealed that it was “a childhood dream” to compete in the Olympics and did not hide his emotion when talking about the opportunity to be on the path to achieving his goal.
“It’s a unique feeling to compete in a Pre-Olympic Tournament, an important competition for Brazil. It’s a feeling of great happiness. When I arrive here, I feel at home. So, I think that’s the feeling, of love and passion for Brazil. And when the competition arrives, I believe that Brazil will be very committed to us getting a place”, concluded Marlon Gomes, making clear the team’s determination in the search for Olympic qualification.
