The European season came to an end, so it is now possible to look back and evaluate who were the most outstanding of the course. The newspaper Marca de España invited a jury made up of more than 115 former footballers, journalists, analysts, influencers and readers to order the 100 best footballers of the 2022/23 campaign in the old continent.
From that vote, the ideal eleven of the season was put together. Brazil has two representatives in the team: Vinicius Junior and Éder Militão. Both once again stood out in the Real Madrid uniform, despite the fact that they could not repeat the success of the previous year.

Vinicius Junior and Eder Militao, included in Marca’s ideal eleven
“The Brazilian has improved his performance from last year, no matter how difficult it was. Militao has ended up assuming the role of leader of Real Madrid’s defense and has earned the right to be considered one of the best central defenders in the world, if not the best. With 7 goals this season, he has revealed his great offensive side”, was the comment regarding the central defender.
The attacker trained in Flamengo, for his part, was recognized for his growth throughout the season: “The Brazilian has established himself this season as the great star of Real Madrid. The new number 7 of the white team led the Madrid team to the Copa del Rey title and the Champions League semifinals in a season in which he has signed the best numbers of his career with 23 goals and 19 assists. He consolidates himself on the podium of the 100 for MARCA, repeating the bronze medal from last season”.
