Brazilian forward Geyse is raising interest in Europe after a great season in Barcelona. She won the Champions League and the Spanish League with the club and it is almost certain that she will be on the World Cup next month.
As of now, Daily Mail reports that Manchester United are keen on signing the player in the summer transfer window. This measure makes sense for the club because of Alessia Russo, who is out of contract and will not renew with the Red Devils.

Geyse is from the same state as Marta
The 25-year-old player is from Alagoas, the same state where Marta was born. Geyse has an history with the Brazilian National Team, where she debuted at only 19.
Geyse started her career playing in the state, but then moved to São Paulo giants Corinthians, where things erupted and opened way into Europe. She played for Madrid CFF twice, Benfica and Barcelona.
She is now in preparation for the World Cup as Pia Sundhage will call the official team tomorrow (27).
