According to the Daily Mail, they were totally seduced by the breathtaking performances of Marcos Leonardo with the Brazilian youth national team.
The Santos youngster managed to stand out early in the tournament, scoring four goals in just four games. Therefore, the Red Devils have reportedly joined the queue of Premier League teams interested in the striker.

Apart from United, Leonardo has been linked with potential interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle and West Ham, who have reportedly tried to sign him in January. With Santos, the 20-year-old has already found the net on 41 occasions in 140 appearances.
His contract with the Peixe runs until 2026, but it doesn’t look like he’ll stay in his home country for much longer. Now, it looks like a matter of time before he moves to Europe, proving how Brazil continues to be the supplier of footballing talents around the world.
