Luiz Henrique spoke about the rumors regarding his future after Betis" defeat to Barcelona on Matchday 21 of LaLiga. “I don"t pay much attention to that matter [interest from other teams] because it can be a distraction during the match. I always let my representatives handle that. I always have to keep my mind in the game for everything to go well," said the Brazilian in an interview with ESPN.

The 23-year-old player has been linked for weeks with a potential move to Flamengo, although the Rio de Janeiro club has not been able to make progress so far. According to Fabrizio Romano, journalist and transfer market expert, the teams failed to reach an agreement in their last meeting, as the Spanish side reportedly set a very high asking price to let go of their key player. According to Estadio Deportivo, Betis demand at least €18 million for Henrique.
