The 2023 CONMEBOL Libertadores group stage has come to an end, and soon we’ll get to know the round of 16 draw, which will take place on Wednesday, July 5. The group leaders will be on pot 1, while those who finished second will be placed on the second pot.

As expected, Brazil will be well represented in the knockout phase: Athletico Paranaense, Atlético Mineiro, Flamengo, Fluminense, Internacional and Palmeiras have punched a ticket to the next round. Corinthians are the only team who failed to advance, dropping to the Sudamericana playoff, where they’ll take on Peruvian side Universitario.
