On the eve of November 4th, a monumental showdown is set to unfold at the illustrious Maracaná Stadium as Fluminense prepares to host Boca in the climactic final of the Copa Libertadores. This epic encounter has ignited an unparalleled frenzy among Brazilian fans, leading to a remarkable occurrence where every available ticket was rapidly snapped up within a mere hour.

A digital queue, swarming with fervent enthusiasts, amassed in excess of 100,000 individuals, all eagerly anticipating the chance to procure the cherished Tricolor tickets. However, in accordance with Conmebol’s allocation, a meager 20,000 fortunate souls managed to secure their coveted passes. The stadium’s security arrangements dictated that Fluminense’s loyal supporters would predominantly occupy the South Sector, while their passionate counterparts from Boca would find their place in the North.

The rally of tickets for the Libertadores finals

In a heartwarming display of solidarity, Fluminense’s supporters have rallied together, aiming to amass a substantial sum of 208,000 reais. This impressive financial campaign is designed to procure essential materials and orchestrate a truly unforgettable welcome for their team when they step onto the hallowed grounds of Maracaná on November 4.

Eminent figures associated with the club, including Matheus Martins and Luiz Henrique, have also heeded the call, making their invaluable contributions. As of now, an impressive total of 106,000 reais has been amassed, leaving a mere 17 days to secure the remaining funds for this grand endeavor.

The road to the Libertadores final has been marked by determination and unwavering commitment for Fluminense. After competing in 26 grueling matches, they currently hold the seventh position in the Brasileirao standings, with a commendable 41 points to their name.

Notably, they have clinched victory in 12 encounters, settled for draws in five, and endured defeat in the remaining nine. If they maintain their current standing, they are poised for a slot in the next Copa Sudamericana. However, an ascent in the rankings or a triumphant victory in the Libertadores would guarantee their passage into the premier South American competition in the subsequent year.
