In a statement published on social networks, the Argentine club urges supporters to avoid any racist, xenophobic or discriminatory behavior, under penalty of immediate arrest.
The press release issued by Boca Juniors leaves no room for any ambiguity. He warns that access to the Palmeiras stadium will be exclusively by facial recognition, and that supporters must register in advance. In addition, the Argentine club reminds that the bringing of pyrotechnic equipment is strictly prohibited.
The fight against racism, a priority
The central point of the warning issued by Boca concerns the behavior of Argentine supporters within the Allianz Parque. The club urges fans not to respond to provocations or make gestures that could be interpreted as racist, xenophobic or discriminatory. The stated desire is to prevent any immediate arrest.
It is crucial to remember that Boca Juniors supporters have been involved in several racist incidents during matches against Brazilian teams, whether at home or abroad. The most recent case took place last week, when Argentine fans were caught making monkey gestures towards Palmeiras fans at the Bombonera.

Following this incident, Palmeiras sent Conmebol videos documenting these racist acts committed by Boca supporters.
As a reminder, last year, Boca Juniors had already been sanctioned twice in less than a month due to racist acts committed by its supporters, both at home and away, during matches of the Copa Libertadores de la Conmebol.
