Arthur Melo will leave Liverpool in the middle of the season. This was confirmed by the Reds’ manager, Jürgen Klopp, at a press conference. Although there is a purchase option by Liverpool, this will not be used and the player must return to Juventus at the end of the season.
Arthur’s passage through Liverpool was quite poor, between technical decisions and injuries the player did not make his debut in the first division and only registered one official match with the club. In any case, Klopp had a few words for the Brazilian midfielder before his departure.

“I would like to wish Arthur Melo the best in his next stage. Due to different circumstances, he could not play as much as we would like, but his professionalism and work attitude was remarkable”, the coach said, according to Besoccer.
The midfielder must return to Juventus after his meager past with the English team. In Italy, the Brazilian will seek continuity that will help him return to his best level. Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson also had words for Arthur: “On behalf of all the Liverpool players I want to wish Arthur Melo good luck in whatever comes his way in his next stage as a footballer,” said the English midfielder.
Arthur will return to Turin to join the Juventus team in the coming weeks. Although it has not yet been defined, it is understood that the player will be part of the first team and a way out will not be sought, at least in the first instance.
