How did the Verdao shirt ended up in the Belgian superstar’s hands? As Globo Esporte reports, the jersey was a gift from the Palmeiras U15 team that participated in a tournament named after the City star, who is also the organizer of that competition.

Palmeiras U15 team gifts Verdao jersey to Kevin De Bruyne
The Palmeiras youth team took part in the Kevin De Bruyne Cup in Belgium, defeating Club Brugge 1-0 in the third-place game. There, they gave De Bruyne’s parents the Verdao shirt as a gift for their son, who received it on time for the Champions League title party.
