Following an unremarkable loan spell at Frosinone last season, his departure from Juventus was anticipated.

Cruzeiro, after initially seeking a loan, has agreed to pay €4 million for Jorge. The club announced on their X account that the striker is due in Belo Horizonte this week.

Pending medical approval and final negotiations, Jorge will sign a five-year contract with Cruzeiro.
