The Spanish Jesé Rodríguez spoke openly about his brief time at Coritiba, a team he joined in September as a stellar addition and from which he left just over two months after being relegated.
“They promised me some things that were not fulfilled. They knew that I was going to go without preseason, without competing. And when I was physically well, I didn’t have the continuity I needed,” he noted.
The forward admitted that “it was not a positive experience” and said that he chose to play in Brazil since “it has always been a good football league,” when giving an interview to the Spanish radio program El Larguero.
Jesé Rodríguez was released early from Coritiba “in line with the objective of advancing the planning of the 2024 season,” the club announced in a brief statement.
Now he is looking for a team and a possible return to Las Palmas is strongly rumored: “What Canarian player doesn’t want to play for his home team? And more so in the First Division and with the season they are having.”

Praise for Endrick before his arrival at Real Madrid
The former Real Madrid player also praised Endrick, the 17-year-old gem who has just won the championship with Palmeiras and who will wear white in the near future.
“I saw him quite a few games and they are going to be amazed when he comes, he is very good. He has power, he is fast, he has speed, dribbles, goals… He is a very complete player, he has a lot of talent and it is easy to like him,” he expressed.
He was also consulted by Vitor Roque, the Atlético Paranaense forward who will play with FC Barcelona. But in this case, Jesé dribbled to give an accurate answer: “I haven’t seen him play much, I like to see more of those who go to Real Madrid.”
