Atlético Mineiro’s 2023 season does not have fans happy at all. However, they have reason to be excited about the future. Well, in their quarry, a player appears who already generates great expectations: it is Iseppe, the scorer of the U-17 team.

Iseppe was called up to the Brazilian under-17 team for the preparatory friendlies before the big event. The forward will seek to earn his place on the final roster in the friendlies against Canada and the United States prior to the long-awaited event.
Due to Atlético Mineiro’s poor performance throughout the year, Luiz Felipe Scolari was consulted about the possibility of promoting the youth scorer to the professional squad. Felipão, however, clarified that he still has a way to go. Next year, Iseppe would move up to the U-20, and from there he can look for his place in the first team.
