Ronaldo Nazário was a striker who marked an era, there is no doubt about that, among footballers and fans are his main admirers. And, one of them, who always admitted it, is the Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimović. The Milan forward has developed a great career throughout his 41 years but he always showed his admiration.

In various interviews he has been seen praising the former 9 of the Brazil National Team: “Ronaldo (Nazário) is a phenomenon. I looked at everything he did and said ‘wow!’ He could make something difficult seem so easy and magical,” he affirm in an interview. Ibra also says that Ronaldo was a unique player: “Before there was no player like him and now there isn’t.” Although there is not such a big age difference (only five years apart) for that degree of fanaticism the Swedish striker has towards the Brazilian, that does not matter.

“I watched him play and said to myself ‘I want to be exactly like that'”, the Swedish player saw it this way before turning professional. His idolatry is such that, to this day, the game that marked him the most was the 1998 World Cup final. In that game two of his greatest idols faced each other: Ronaldo Nazário and Zinédine Zidane. The joy would be for the Frenchman in that match but the Brazilian could take his revenge four years later when he lifted the World Cup in Korea and Japan.
