Defender Thiago Silva will be a Fluminense player again. According to information from the GE.com website, the parties reached an agreement for the transfer in the last few hours on Friday (3rd).
The defender is at the end of his contract with Chelsea, England. Thus, he will defend the Tricolor das Laranjeiras from the middle of the year. The international transfer window will open on July 10th.

The achievements
Thiago Silva has an extremely successful career in football. The defender has accumulated 31 titles so far.
Fluminense
The first trophy won by the player was precisely in his first spell with Fluminense. Thiago Silva won the 2007 Copa do Brasil. On that occasion, Flu beat Figueirense in the grand final of the knockout tournament.
Milan
The defender left Fluminense to join Milan in the 2009 season. For the Italian club, the defender played 119 games, scoring six goals. With Milan, Thiago Silva won one Italian Championship and one Italian Super Cup.
PSG
In 2012, the defender agreed to transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, where he remained until 2020. For the French team, the Brazilian played 315 games, with 17 goals and six assists.
At PSG, Thiago Silva celebrated 23 titles: seven French Championship cups, five French Super Cup trophies, six French League Cup trophies and another five French Cup trophies.
Chelsea
The defender arrived at Chelsea in 2020. For the English team, so far, he has played 152 matches, scoring nine goals and providing three assists. Thiago Silva won the Champions League (2020-2021), the UEFA Super Cup (2021) and the FIFA Club World Cup (2021) with the Blues.

Thiago Silva will sign a contract with Fluminense until June 2026 season. According to GE.com, the club from Rio de Janeiro sent members of the legal and communication departments to England to expedite the procedures for the official announcement of the defender.
