How many Libertadores does Inter have?

Internacional has won the Copa Libertadores twice.

In 2006, a long time after having lost the final against Nacional of Uruguay in 1980, Colorado ended its drought thanks to Abel Braga. With figures like Fernandao and Rafael Sobis on the court, they won against São Paulo in the grand final to claim champion for the first time at the South American level.

A few years later, an excellent squad led by Celso Roth once again put Inter at the top of the continent. With an unstoppable Andrés D’Alessandro along with some of the 2006 champions, Internacional won its second Libertadores in 2010, when they defeated Chivas de Guadalajara in the series for the title.

In 2023, the club aims to add its third star. They are one step away from the final, but we will have to see if they overcome the demanding test that Fluminense represents.
