Neymar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is a big unknown. Despite the fact that he still has several years left on his contract in the French capital, the rumors that speak of a possible separation this summer are gaining more and more force.
The Brazilian star has been targeted by the PSG fans in recent weeks, to the point that there were protests in front of his house to ask for his departure. Gilberto Silva, a former Arsenal midfielder, has admitted that he would love to see him play in north London.

Gilberto Silva would ‘love’ to see Neymar at his former team, Arsenal
In dialogue with casinosite.nl, the retired Brazilian footballer gave his opinion about the situation his compatriot is going through. Neymar’s days could be numbered in Paris, and if he leaves at the end of the season, Silva proposed his former team as a possible destination.
“The last few weeks at PSG have been very strange for Neymar. I do not agree with protests at his home, fans do not have the right to protest at a player’s home. I hope it doesn’t happen again with him or with any other player,” Silva said.
“Everyone knows about Neymar’s quality, there’s no need to talk about it. I love the way he plays and would love to see him at Arsenal instead of Newcastle. I love him as a player, but he also has a lot to give to football. You’ve suffered injuries that have made things difficult for you, but you still have so much to offer any club… how would you fit in? Well, that would be quite a task for Mikel! We would have to wait and see, I don’t want to talk about a player who still has a contract with PSG.”
Silva is an eminence in the London team, with which he won that unforgettable Premier League undefeated in the 2003-04 season. We will have to see how Neymar’s situation continues in Paris, but if he leaves, he will undoubtedly arouse the interest of various teams.
