“I have been pushing myself a lot. I know I am not in a very good phase, but with the confidence of the coaching staff, I am getting more comfortable. I thank them and my teammates for their trust. I have to believe in myself, I know I can give much more for the national team and my club.”

Geyse also talked about the next challenge with the Brazilian National Team: the knockout stage of the Gold Cup. The forward emphasizes that the team remains focused on overcoming any opponent.

“Reaching the final is our goal, so we will keep working. Regardless of the opponent we will face, we will remain focused.”

Now Brazil awaits the final matches of the group stage of the competition to see how their bracket will shape up. The players and coaching staff are heading to Los Angeles, California, where they will seek a spot in the semifinals.
