After the shock of the scandal that pitted PSG fans against Neymar and Lionel Messi, it is rumored that both would leave in the next transfer window. The Argentine ends his contract so he would have more freedom of action but Neymar has a contract until 2025.

At first, English clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle were interested in the Brazilian, although for now the one that seems to be making the first moves is the black and white team. In any case, PSG expects an important payment to give another club a free hand to negotiate with Neymar.

The former Manchester United side Gary Neville referred to this, the possible arrival of the Brazilian star and warned the Newcastle coach in his podcast: “Neymar is a fantastic player but I think Eddie Howe will have a circus at his club and he doesn’t need that, Newcastle don’t need that,” he said.

In any case, the former player understands the path that Newcastle is taking and points out that at some point they will have to sign a big star and they must be prepared for that: “They will have to do it at some point, they will have to sign a world star and Eddie is going to have to be up to the task at that moment”, affirming that these types of situations are handled on but also off the pitch.

Neville notes these tips for Newcastle but says the same comments go to Chelsea who are building a new project. In any case, the blues still do not have a defined technical director and it is said that the next one could be Mauricio Pochettino, who already has experience managing important teams and renowned stars.
