Galhardo scored twice and signed the 2-0 win over Bragantino with a performance of almost total superiority .The match concluded the games for the 14th round of the Brasileirão.
Inter experienced a first half of dominance, one that we have not seen from them in a long time.
Almost without force, Colorado controlled the game and found its two goals via crosses. As always, Thiago Galhardo was happy to capitalize on them.
In the 16th minute, Hector was the one who made a pin-point cross that landed on the head of the forward, who anticipated the defense to send the head. Eight minutes later, Edenílson received inside the area and found the free striker to expand. Bragantino only came close in the 10th minute with Shark via a headed opportunity.
The second half at Nabi Abi Chedid would be a mere protocol, were it not for the cards. Bragantino even tried to test pressure to reduce the disadvantage and seek a draw.
It gorse worse for the struggling side as Thonny Anderson managed to be expelled at the end of the game for a hard foul on Edenílson. The goalkeepers were mere spectators for the entire second half.
With the victory, Inter resumes the vice-leadership of the Brasileirão with 25 points – two less than Atlético-MG, but with one more game. Bragantino is in second place from bottom with 12 points.
The two teams return to the field for the 15th round of the Brasileirão next Sunday. Bragantino will face Atlético-GO at the Olympic Stadium in Goiânia. Later on the same day, Inter hosts Athletico in Beira-Rio.
